Weiser River TrailDesign and construction engineering services were provided to the Friends of the Weiser River Trail on three segments of an 84-mile trail corridor situated in two Idaho counties. Services were coordinated with Friends of the Weiser River Trail, the Idaho Transportation Department, the City of Cambridge, the City of Council, and the City of Weiser. The project segments totaled over 14,000 feet of pathways.

Keller Associates led the design team that included civil design, surveying, geotechnical and materials investigation, and environmental support for NEPA compliance that addressed items such as wetlands, endangered species with Biological Assessments, and cultural resources. Users of the trail are pedestrians, equestrians, and bicyclists. Each trail segment included amenities such as trailhead for access, benches, landscaping, interpretive information, and parking.

Construction cost was approximately $1 million. The projects were delivered expeditiously to meet the Federal-Aid program constraints.
