Yale Road is a farm to market road and a vital link to many Cassia County farms and dairies. After years of heavy truck usage, the road had become extremely rutted and distressed and needed repair. The Burley Highway District opted to tackle the reconstruction project in phases and teamed with Keller Associates to oversee construction on Phase Three of the roadway improvements. Keller oversaw the construction in accordance with the Project’s Federal Aid contract requirements. This included full time inspection, quality assurance sampling, and testing. The completed project saw 2.1 miles of road reconstructed, 4,100 feet of which was realigned to improve sight distance and safety.  In addition, major public utilities were successfully relocated including telephone, fiber optic, and overhead power lines.
