Talent Acquisition Manager

Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the charge in planning, developing and implementing a new and productive talent acquisition strategy for Keller Associates.  This position collaborates with senior leaders to determine organizational need and develop relationships and a pipeline to support the growth of the company. This position can be located anywhere within our service area including Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Northern California and parts of Utah and Wyoming. The position will report to the Company’s Human Resources Manager and have direct interaction with the Company President.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Establish short and long-term goals and metrics, supporting talent acquisition and retention
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to share emerging talent acquisition trends, establishing a successful, collaborative recruiting strategy
  • Develop innovative hiring methodologies through identifying unique and non-traditional sources for candidates
  • Ensure hiring managers and interview team are trained and prepared to leave a positive, professional impression of Keller Associates with all candidates
  • Partner closely with hiring managers throughout recruiting and onboarding
  • Establish and maintain relationships with universities, employment agencies, external recruiters, professional associations and other organizations to ensure a continuous pipeline of candidates
  • Facilitate hiring process, and manage communication with candidates throughout
  • Develop, implement and manage staffing metrics, demonstrating improvement year over year
  • Design and implement onboarding plan for all new hires
  • Establish policies and practices in support of the talent acquisition strategy
  • Demonstrate skill in matching cultural and environmental fit in addition to technical skills and experience
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable EEOC, other federal, state, and local regulations with regard to hiring practices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experienced in full cycle recruiting and sourcing
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing a metrics-driven, consultative, service-oriented recruitment strategy
  • Ability to develop business cases and service requirements, influence and foster trust with stakeholders at all levels, while creating and managing strategic alliances
  • Strong interpersonal skills and self-awareness with Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Master’s degree in IO Psychology or Business preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience, with at least 2 years in a senior level position
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus

Structural Engineer

Looking for a new challenge?

If so, Keller Associates, Inc. is looking to add an experienced, highly motivated senior structural engineer to our team. The right candidate for the position will need at least ten plus years of relevant experience, have at least a B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field, and have a professional engineer license. We are seeking a technically oriented project engineer or project manager with experience in:

  • Detailing and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
  • Working knowledge of common structural engineering software such as RAM Concept, RAM Structural System, RISA, STAAD.Pro, and SAFE
  • Knowledge of PT slab, podium type structures

This position will require work on a wide variety of projects throughout the northwest in a range of markets, including retail, commercial, and education, municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, and wastewater and water treatment facility upgrades. Bridge Engineer

Looking for a new challenge?

If so, Keller Associates, Inc. is looking to add a highly motivated  mid-level (10+ years) bridge engineer to our team. The right candidate for the position will need at least a B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field and be a licensed Professional Engineer.

This position will require work on state, city, and privately funded projects including the design and creation of specifications and construction drawings for all types of single- span and multi-span bridges; other projects may include load rating existing and new bridges using AASTHOWare Brr, bridge inspection, and various other bridge related projects. Electrical Engineering Manager

Electrical Engineering Manager Skills and Qualifications:

  • Licensed PE in the State of Idaho (can obtain Idaho PE within six months)
  • 10+ years of electrical design experience
  • 5+ years of technical management experience with proven management proficiency, the ability to troubleshoot, best safety practices, quality-driven deliverables, process improvement, and leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

CAD / Designer

We’re looking for can-do people who don’t stand on ceremony, who aren’t thrown off by hard work, and who believe engineering is a team sport. If that’s you, apply now for our CAD designer/technician position.

Experienced CAD designer/technician needed to provide support to engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams. Details to include all views and dimensions necessary for project completion. Candidate must have solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology. Our designers work in teams on a variety of infrastructure improvement projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design of municipal and public works projects, as well as private development.
  • Draft and assemble construction drawings with a focus on water, sewer, storm drainage, roads & grading.
  • Draft topographic mapping from points following standard protocols.
  • Prepare documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Conform to appropriate CAD standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates degree in computer aided drafting field with 2+ years in civil engineering field or, 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3d required.
  • Experience with other software is a plus (Revit, GIS or MicroStation).
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Simple decision-making skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers to solve complex problems.
