Job Summary:
As a member of our planning team, you will coordinate with other engineers, GIS/CAD technicians, team members from multiple offices, and clients to successfully complete projects. This is an immediate opportunity for a motivated person ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to our growing operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare planning studies
- Conduct modeling and hydraulic modeling
- Prepare Preliminary Engineering Reports
- Develop Master Plans and Capital Improvement Plans
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other marketing/business development activities
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong experience with municipal water distribution and/or wastewater and stormwater collection planning projects
- Expertise with GIS, hydraulic modeling, and a sound understanding of hydraulic and hydrologic principles
- Proficient with applicable software such as WaterCAD / WaterGEMS, InfoWater, and InfoSWMM
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work successfully with experts in multiple disciplines with a range of approaches
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Four or more years of relevant professional experience
- Current Professional Engineer licensure in Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Utah, and/or Idaho or ability to obtain licensure
