School Projects

MOUNTAIN VIEW HIGH SCHOOL

The project site is located on a 50 acre parcel directly southeast of the intersection of Locust Grove Road and Overland Road. Keller Associates was consulted to perform civil engineering services related to development of the site parking facilities, ball fields, utility main and service extensions, storm water disposal, irrigation ditch tiling, and public agency coordination. Specifically, Keller Associates worked closely with the project design team and construction manager to develop the project plans in two phases. This strategy allowed the project site improvement plans to proceed with approval and construction prior to full completion of the building plans.

LINDER ROAD MIDDLE SCHOOL

The Linder Road Middle School consists of construction of a new school building and associated planned site improvements; including sports fields, parking facilities, utilities, stormwater disposal, an irrigation pump station design, and Linder Road improvements. (The site is approximately 38 acres)

MERIDIAN MIDDLE SCHOOL - LEWIS & CLARK

Keller Associates was responsible for development of grading and drainage plans, utility plans, and a pressure irrigation pump station design for the 35-acre Lewis & Clark Middle School site. Keller Associates performed circulation and turning movement analysis and roadway plans for the Pine Street extension. Keller Associates developed a separate bid package to tile a portion of Settler’s Canal and on-site irrigation ditches.

MERIDIAN CHARTER SCHOOL

In coordination with the local architect and governing agencies, Keller Associates provided off-site civil engineering services for extending water and sewer service along Locust Grove frontage, irrigation modifications, and widening of Locust Grove to incorporate a left-turn bay, a deceleration lane, and sidewalks. Keller Associates independently bid the project and administered construction of the improvements.

VALLIVUE HIGH SCHOOL

Keller Associates designed the water-sewer systems for the new Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho. The new 218,000 square foot high school facility, situated on 55 acres, included 6- and 8-inch water supply lines and 8-inch sewer lines. Keller Associates also designed an extension of the City of Caldwell’s wastewater collection system to connect to the new high school.

KUNA HIGH SCHOOL

Keller Associates designed and prepared detailed construction plans for the new 50 acre Kuna High School site located near Deer Flat Road and Linder Road. Keller Associates staff was responsible for development of grading and drainage plans for the school parking facilities, sports playing fields, building roof drainage, and miscellaneous locations near the school building. Keller Associates was responsible for design of offsite water and sewer extensions, intersection widening at Deer Flat and Linder, Deer Flat Road widening, and the design of Kay Street to provide service to Kuna High School.
