Mr. Suihkonen has over 30 years of experience in planning, design, and construction administration of civil and environmental projects. His primary expertise is in the are of water and wastewater treatment, having designed a wide range of process facilities at 15 different treatment plants. He has also prepared numerous wastewater facility plans and water system master plans. Other experience includes design of water transmission lines and wastewater interceptors, well facilities, potable water resources, water distribution systems and water/wastewater pumping stations.

Mr. Suihkonen’s experience encompasses a wide range of civil and environmental projects. Project experience in specific related areas are as follows:

• Wastewater Treatment and Collection
       – Designer of full range plant process units at 10 major wastewater
          treatment plants in Idaho and Oregon; including headworks,
          clarifiers, aeration basins, disinfection facilities, digesters and solids
          handling facilities
       – Responsible for design of interceptors up to 84 inch diameter

• Water Treatment
       – Responsible for civil and mechanical design of five major water
          treatment plants up to 30 MGD capacity

• Water Supply and Distribution
       – Responsible for design of 10 treated water reservoirs with capacities           up to 3 MG, over 50 miles of water transmission and distribution
          lines up to 36 inches in diameter

• Well and Booster Pumping Facilities
       – Designer of pumping facilities for water and stormwater pumping
          stations with capacities to 600 horsepower and 20 MGD
       – Design of well pumping facilities for over 20 water supply wells with
          capacity up to 2500gpm and 500 HP
       – Numerous building and facility reviews
       – Many land use and zoning negotiations and changes

• Meridian Parks and Recreation Commission for 6 years
       – Major land purchase negotiations
       – Development of new comprehensive Parks and Recreation Plan
       – Master planning of three major park facilities for the city
